Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a web site's computer and stored on your computer's hard drive. Cookies record information about your online preferences and provide time-saving shortcuts.

Users have the opportunity to set their computers to: 1) accept all cookies; 2) to notify them when a cookie is issued or 3) not to receive cookies at any time. The last of these options, means that certain personalised services cannot then be provided to that user and accordingly you may not be able to take full advantage of all of the web site features. Since each browser is different, you should check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences.

Each web site can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a web site to access cookies it has already sent to you and not the cookies sent to you by other sites.

If you have set your computer to reject cookies you can still browse the Aventa web site anonymously until such time as you wish to register for information or downloads.

When a visitor follows a link from an Aventa web site to one of our Solution Provider's sites, the Solution Provider may store information about Aventa and the collected information that you have supplied in a session cookie. Acceptance of these cookies is optional as specified by your browser.

Security

Aventa uses a managed service facility for the hosting of its web site and the storage of collected information. This facility has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the data under its control. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects information using both server authentication and data encryption to help ensure data is safe, secure and available only to Aventa. The service provider utilises an advanced security method based on both dynamic data and encoded session identification data and hosts the facility in a secure server environment using a firewall and other advanced technologies to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Finally, the system requires unique user names and passwords that must be entered each time a user logs on. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of data.

Opt-Out Policy

Aventa Technology Limited offers you a means to choose how we may use information you have provided. If, at any time after registering information, you change your mind about receiving information from us or about sharing information with third parties, send us a request specifying your new choice to info@aventanet.com.
