July 23, 2004. NetSuite today announced it has been ranked by ASPnews as one of the world's 25 leading Application Service Providers (ASPs) in the "provider" category.
ASPnews, a pioneer source of news and analysis for and about the ASP industry and part of the internet.com network of Jupitermedia Corp., published its choices for the top 25 providers and top 25 enablers on its website.
Enablers are middleware vendors like IBM, BEA, Microsoft, PeopleSoft and Oracle.
As stated on their website, for inclusion in the ASPnews Top 25 Providers list, companies must meet the following criteria:
"It is an honor to be identified by ASPnews as one of the top 25 ASPs in the world," said Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite. "NetSuite was an early adopter of the ASP model and our success in the on-demand space continues to draw industry accolades."
NetSuite enables companies to manage all key business operations in a single, integrated system, which includes customer relationship management; order management and fulfillment; inventory management; finance; e-commerce; Web site management; and employee productivity.
NetSuite is delivered as an on-demand service, so there is no hardware to procure, no large up-front license fee, and no complex set-ups. Finally, NetSuite's patent-pending "real-time dashboard" technology provides an easy-to-use view into role-specific business information that is always up-to-date.
